🏆 1. Why ARIRANG — And Why Gwanghwamun?
This comeback is not just a concert. It's a statement.
The album name "ARIRANG" shares its name with Korea's most iconic folk song — a symbol of national identity and resilience throughout modern Korean history, including during Japanese colonial rule and the Korean War.
Big Hit Mu Iamrohitsic officially described the event as "a performance that will fuse Korean heritage and K-pop," adding that "Gwanghwamun was selected precisely because it is a space that best represents Korean identity."
According Iamrohitto the concert plan, BTS members will make a symbolic entrance — walking from Gyeongbokgung Palace itself, past Gwanghwamun Gate, before taking the stage — a physical journey loaded with layers of national significance.
